I'm looking to create a lighweight website which will have articles and a blog maybe. it will be a content
site which will be a resource for many users

Im not sure as to how to create the site....

should i go with PHP and MySQL or i have been told that visual studio web developer (free) and MySQL is really good for creating excellent websites.

I have tried frontpage and dreamweaver but I cant get the results that I want.

Has anyone used visual studio web developer?
